This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and dynamic leader to play a crucial role in our Outstanding Alternative Provision Free School at a time of innovation and growth.  Lighthouse Harmonize Education Trust is looking to appoint a forward thinking and dedicated Assistant Principal who has a strong track record at leadership level to work alongside the Principal and Senior Leadership Team.

Located in the heart of Liverpool, Harmonize Academy opened in April 2013 as one of the first Alternative Provision Free Schools in the country and caters for 13 – 16 year olds who struggle in mainstream education. Our vision is to provide outstanding alternative education with individualised learning pathways that radically improve the achievement and life chances of our students. Our learning offer includes a broad and balanced curriculum with a focus on the core academic subjects, English, Maths and Science, as well as a broad vocational offer with a distinctive Urban Arts, Personal Development and Enterprise base. We are now recruiting a new Assistant Principal to work closely with the Principal and Vice Principal in continuing to shape Harmonize Academy as a model of excellence. We require a committed and highly skilled professional who will contribute to the school leadership and management in securing the highest possible standards for student achievement and school efficiency as we continue to broaden our curriculum and aspire to improve academic attainment for some of the most vulnerable young people in Merseyside.

Fundamentally, this role is about working with the Senior Leadership Team in future proofing the Academy and maintaining the success of the school as Outstanding and to support the development of a Multi Academy Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and forward-thinking teacher to play a crucial role in our Outstanding Alternative Provision Free School at a time of innovation and growth.  Lighthouse Harmonize Education Trust is looking to appoint a dedicated SENDCo who has a strong track record in SEND to work alongside the Principal and Vice Principal to develop and implement strategies to ensure that all students can access the full curriculum and make substantial and sustained progress from their different starting points.

Harmonize Academy provides excellent opportunities to gain experience and develop your skills working with young people in a secondary school alternative education environment.

Are you studying at one of Liverpool's universities or are you a recent graduate?

We are actively looking for volunteers to work with our students and help boost their confidence and performance in English, Maths and Science as they work towards their GCSEs.

This is also a great opportunity for you to gain experience in a secondary school alternative education environment.
