Dear Parents/Carers,

I would like to thank you all so much for your continued support over the last academic year. This year has been such a great success and we are delighted to announce that ‘Harmonize Academy continues to be an outstanding school for the third time since opening’. This follows an Ofsted visit in early May.

The report emphasised that, ‘The school’s values of ‘trust, respect, compassion and forgiveness’ are evident in all aspects of its work’ and that students ‘feel that staff genuinely care about their well-being. As a result, pupils feel happy and safe. Pupils are given a fresh start at this nurturing school.’

I would like to thank all our students for their outstanding progress, commitment and behaviour over the last year. We have also enjoyed some VIP visits this term. We were honoured to welcome the new Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Councillor Barbara Murray. During her visit, the Lord Mayor met with students and staff, and toured the school facilities. The Lord Mayor congratulated all the staff and students on achieving a third outstanding Ofsted saying, ‘Thank you for all you do if I can help in any way, I will’. In the same week, Harmonize Academy had the pleasure of hosting two teachers from Realschule auf dem Röddenberg Secondary School in Osterode am Harz, Lower Saxony, Germany. This was part of the UK-German Connection cultural exchange programme which works to bring young people together.
